Ephemeral Eulogies

Where do we live?

In our homes

Our towns

Perhaps another’s heart

When we die to our body

Do we truly leave this world?

Where did we come from?

Where do we go?

I have looked for concrete evidence

Of my presence passing by

And the only place I found it

Is in the deeds that I did

The actions I took

The words that live on

In the shape of my books

This blog…

We are as ephemeral as the wag of a dogs tail

As he jostles along

Happy in this moment

Chasing a rabbit

He’ll forget by lunchtime

*Which of course is a lead on to another dog photo – I spend a lot of time with my dogs – they are the best company.

  1. God is in everyone and everything,

After the winter, comes the spring,

At this time, the birds would sing ,

Love and light, the divine shall bring ,

The divine is here , there and everywhere,

Dare to believe that life is fair ,

Liberty and justice  we shall  declare ,

Love and light are not rare …

  2. Oh how short lived our attention spans, chasing novelty, once we get it we realize the fun is in the chase and not in the “getting”. Eventually we slow down and ask for guidance, patiently waiting for answers. Love the pups! 🙂
