Hollow interiors – peeling off layers

A five year old

Applying newspaper strips

Dipped in glue

At school

To the outside of a big red balloon

Harden in the sun

Pop

Done

A perfectly hollow shell to paint

Looks substantial

Add a face

It makes a mask

The small ribbon of deflated balloon

Once full of air

Now discarded

Also balloons are pollution – please don’t use them nor let them go in the air as they choke wildlife and stock (cattle, sheep etc become curious and eat them) and of course if they get in the ocean the poor old turtles 🐢 and marine life 🐠 swallow them too.
