Stepping out of mud puddles

Mistakes are no more than mud puddles

When we learn where they are

We avoid them

Guilt

Shame

Blame

Judgement

People standing around getting mud on their shoes

Wallowing

For no reason

Step out of the mud

Clean your soles

And keep dancing

  1. I really love this. The comparison of mistakes to mud puddles sort of makes it seem normal and maybe even there is a purpose after. Mud puddles have a lot of purpose in terms of landscapes and gardens. It’s interesting to compare it to mistakes. Just points out clearly that we can learn from our mistakes too. And maybe they are Infact little lessons. Such a beautiful poem. Thank you
