I can’t find the words
They elude me
Australia
My home
I have had the opportunity to put my feet down in so many beautiful places in this country
And it all feels like me
Mine
Yours
Ours
It belongs to everyone
And no one
It just is
So damn special
It means humour
Resilience
Diversity
Colours of depth
Brilliance
Snakes crocodiles spiders – some of the most dangerous in earth
Koalas, kangaroos,emus, platypus, kookaburra, cockatoo
Unique
Surprising
The landscape vast and huge
Ever changing as you drive through
Up north
Down south
East and west
Dead centre Uluru
I’ve been there too
I’ve been under the ground in opal mines
And flying like a bird high above
They call it the lucky country
But the luck
And love
Lives in us
For being able to call it home
Here are a few photos – so many are missing
So many more should be here
But it’s okay
They are present in the slideshow of my mind
Blessed to have them there

Oh and my bike features in a lot of the photos because it was my mode of travel to many places – cannot beat rising along with the scents of this country blowing through your helmet
