Flying

The aril of my heart is thicker than I bargained

Compromise is a thing that grows in the absence of faith

Not everything is magic

And running of a cliff and thinking I can fly would be silly

But then how did the first pilot imagine he would ever become airborne?

Revving and bumping down the track

Suddenly feeling his wheels lift

The fragile plane rock

And all the while his heart would be beating so fast

So fast

But he didn’t ask for compromise

Because that is not what flying is about

This post was scheduled for before the AI one – I wrote both on the same day. One in the early afternoon and the other much later. It’s funny the different slants a bit of fun will put on your day.
