How to expand time

Time is not contained in clocks

It coalesces in my attention

And expands when I do what I love

Capturing time | using it for what I love

  1. kate, wonderful job on this. i am currently training on the Avata drone platform for the FPV goggle view and when i log enough hours into that i’m going to move into the drone you have. so cool to see your experience with it and i look forward to any aerial clips you post. Mike

    • I’m adding them to Flickr and also Instagram more regularly Mike. I’ve never heard of Avata and shall hop off and google it – I did my remote pilot licence and aeronautical radio licence through a company here in Oz – it’s a week long intensive but now I just want to play with it because practice makes perfect but also…it’s a lot of fun

  2. Ha!
You remind me of a forgotten draft of a senryū that failed to merge this personal sense of the fluid passage of time with Einstein’s theory of relativity where gravity warps time and the intensity of our focus is equated with gravity.
“Can’t wait for that one, Kate!”
he says in self mocking tones.
Luckily there is no need to complete it now, thanks to your fine work.
    Kind regards
    DD

    • Well now I have another thought occurring! Or several. The theory of equal and opposite reaction gets a lot of talk time but what about when one reaction provokes an equal and altogether along the same line reaction (but not quite) and now it needs to be further discussed… another reason I love WordPress and your comments :DD

  3. you’ve got a bike, a dog, a drone, the wide open spaces and the time to enjoy them all; I agree, Kate: time expands when you do what you love — and much of that with me is writing, walking in the wide open air, along the lake, and getting ‘blissed out’ )
