I bought a teapot
Second hand
Humble and brown
I thought it would be best
For I had grown to distrust
Beautiful
Fragile
Pretty
I was wrong
It leaks from an ill designed spout
From whence I pour the tea out
It drips
And puddles
Infuriatingly
Which just goes to show
Plain things are not trustworthy either
