I am here
I am home
I say to the four walls
And
listen to the echo
Bouncing
around
the
rooms
I am here
I say
Once again
But they are all gone
Shadows and afternoon sunlight
An unmade bed
A dirty sock
And a small clutter of dirty dishes
Wishes
They were washed
I take a teacup from the shelf
Talk to myself as the kettle boils
I say
I'm here
I'm home
And it's enough

“I here, I’m home and It’s enough” those three lines speak volumes as your poems often do.

Thankyou! That’s very kind of you, I have another award to respond to as well, have been busy. I happen to enjoy reading others award responses as they are a quirky way to find interesting little extras about people. Thanks for your kind comments as well.
You’re welcome.
