The most resilient life forms in the world
Are among the smallest most fragile beings
They cast webs of gossamer fine particles
Again and again
Morning dew sparkles on a dream just spun
And I am reminded as I run
Spiders
Work tirelessly
Repeating
Repairing holes
Rewriting
Rewiring
And casting their creations forward
They greet each morning
With a new net
I have never seen one throw a tantrum
Sunk in the depths of despair
At a fresh tear
Instead
They weave until they die
Or die trying
Valiant little beast you put we humans to shame
So
I pick up my pen
And begin again
