Steadfast

Does the roof sigh beneath the weight of snow

Still, it does not give way

The tree branch

Laid low by rainwaters burden

Still, it holds

Steadfast

Damp, heavy things are relieved

By the suns rays

And every new day

Is a chance

To melt again

*how much easier it is to melt rather than be weighed down by the uncontrollables in life.
