It’s amazing how much a mind can stuff up a life
Luckily, some people are sign posts
Some places are fuel stations
And the heart is a compass that doesn’t need Google
As long as we pay attention
If pain is expensive
Denial is exorbitant
And in seeking to distract ourselves, we could very well die
I’m just grateful for signposts
And fuel stations
That bring us back to life and head us off safely, fuelled up and recharged
In another direction

Well said!
Thanks Deborah 😊
Yes….”Denial is exorbitant .”
I’ve certainly found it to be – the truth is cheap and liberating by contrast 😊
Agree! 🙂
Wonderful perspective 🥰
Thanks
This is true . Thanks Anita
Thanks Anita, it’s got roots that run a little deeper but I like the simplicity of it left at ground level.
