What’s to be done?

Good morning

It’s not about what’s done

Or to be done

Or what was done

What’s done is done

And it’s not life

Life is being aware

The simple meeting

Eyes in the mirror

Catching your breath

Metacognition

Why did I think that?

Life is the invitation

That strolls into your head

Says

Forget all that stuff

Now

What is left ?

Come

Sit with that

And from SubStack this morning.

Have a beautiful day

  1. Dear Kate,
I floated beneath the mirror of your words and found something of me. Common sense might dictate the bin. But I’m lacking in that department and hopeful that these silly words reflect my thanks to you.

    multi faceted
    not like any diamond
    more like dog bark rough

    Be well and do good.
    Kind regards,

  2. Such an amazing way to say something. Your verse is a celebration of something deeply special and wise. A spectacular way of putting into words your insight and sensibility!!

      • You are an artist with a heart of all things beautifully crafted like any art form .. I have not met you but I feel deeply connected to your spirit.. it’s this quote that I feel when I think of you , all good things in life are felt and not seen. I think you are art itself .. a form of human magnificence..♥️🤗

      • Thankyou Yassie, we are similar threads in different tapestries – I hope you are enjoying this big Leo full moon – it’s stunning and when the sun comes up in the morning no doubt it will rise in your part of the world

      • You welcome, Katie. We certainly are woven together in this tapestry of life and I definitely loving this beautiful moon and the gentle winter sun in my part of the world.
