Photos are not treasured in the moment
They need time to become priceless
a gift to our future selves
So we take a moment seemingly quite insignificant
Snatch it from the ether
Wrap it in chemicals and paper
Tuck it away in a box
Until along comes a version of us one day
Exclaiming
“Oh
I remember this“
I find myself taking many photos of Bodhi lately. The grey around her muzzle, her wise elderly dog eyes. I feel time is growing thin between the future and my time left with her.

Beautifully captured.
Thanks so much Tracy 😊
Yes, pictures. 👏🏽
Fantastic caption of your dog. I have a fourteen year old Corgi. Have a wonderful day 🙏
Thanks Chris, same to you 😊
