There is a colour
Between green and gold
In the paddocks weighted down.
Verdant grass with lush roots of spring growth
heady with seed
Green
Turning
Brown
I tramp through the early morning light
Watching the colours shift and sway
One minute fresh
One minute hay
Thinking
I feel a bit like that today

thank you for taking us on that lovely walk Kate. Mike
Glad you enjoyed it Mike 😊
Much like life Kate. Green at youth and aging brittle as we continue each day.
The grass does it so gracefully Elle – it shows me the way – no dye needed – the colours blending naturally 😊
Indeed they do. 😉
