We create busy
We create it by following the thoughts in our heads.
Like charismatic leaders they call to us and blindly, we run after them. Some are exciting, dramatic or inspiring. They tell us of things we want. Others are sad, anxious, fretful – they tell us if things we don’t want.
There are many tunes and we listen to them all. A captive audience, held in their thrall until that moment.
That moment, so precious few, when a break in the patterns changes the view and for just one moment, we see life exactly as it is and exactly how we are
And in that moment, there appears a side window to our own mind, don’t hesitate, slip away like a child and escape.
For soon enough the clouds will return and clarity is trampled
Beneath the hard shod of thoughts, come cantering in
And the mind is besieged
By all manner of things
But in the soft water colour spread of a day still dawning, I set down my pen and yawning out the window, for just a moment I realise that this is all we have, and it is everything
And these thoughts that fill me are just child toy distractions
Set them aside and life becomes truly inspiring
Just as it is

Yes, I noticed that photo. I was actually trying to figure out if it was a painting.
